Cards for Charity

I have made 4 sets of cards and matching gift tags for the Leukaemia foundation Shave for a Cure Auctions run by two different friends.These were for my friend Heather whose daughter shaved her hair off.

and these were for another facebook friend. They all sold which was good.

2012

2012 is now here and am I am wondering what this year will bring for everyone. My hope is that it will be a good year for all.
I have now made my cards ready for craft group I have made a birthday and Christmas version of each card. I hope that the ladies like them. I have been making a journal for me to doodle in. I have used some grunge paper for the cover and created quite a nice flower from a glassine bag. Will take a photo when cover is complete.

Christmas Cards again

I spent yesterday afternoon making christmas cards. There is a challenge on a blog I visit occasionally and thought I might enter. Probably won't win anything as my style is not theirs but it was fun making the cards.I do make simple cards sometimes but really prefer to layer my cards and add something extra from the sewing scrap box. The plain cards I usually make when I am at a crop as there is always so much to take. These are the cards I made yesterday.

Friday evening

I had a great evening scrapping with friends at my friend Grace's house.An evening full of laughter and a little scrapping..Thanks Grace, Kylie, Penny, Serena, Kathryn and Miscelly.  I managed to complete four cards.

Scrapping Weekend

Great weekend and I manage to acheive quite a lot I made some cards and also managed to get quite a few pages done for my grandsons album. They are not all completed but at least I have photos on pages. These are the cards i completed.The cards used mainly Stampin Up papers and stamps. I really like these papers.

I really like this stamp which is Kaszazz 278LK Merry friends. The colour scheme was from a challenge on swappers hub

half the week has gone already and I still have heaps to do.
I had morning tea with friends and then went to have coffee with my son.Was really nice to catch up with him and have a chat.

I made these cards the other day,time to start getting ready for Christmas.
Need to make a birthday card for my son tonight as it is his birthday on Sunday.

I made these cards for a workshop for our monthly craft group. Just love these papers I dry embossed the background on the easel card and the sanded it. Lots of cutting out and some of the group weren't happy about that
